I just wanted to say a huge and heartfelt thank you for the outstanding service you provided to me recently.
On looking on the internet for ‘mobility scooter hire for Southport Flower Show’ I was immediately directed to ‘Event Mobility’.
First I telephoned and spoke with Lisa who answered all my queries/questions.
I then accessed the website and booked/paid for my scooter hire for the Friday of the show.
Saturday arrived and so did I, accompanied by my husband, to the show.
A little nervous of what lay ahead of me as I’d never driven a mobility scooter before and hoped I’d done the ‘right thing’
We were met by a most welcoming and reassuring Rachel; Simon soon had a suitable scooter lined up for me and after a quick but thorough ‘lesson’ from Rachel and the knowledge that I could ring anytime during the day if I had concerns or ‘problems’, to the showground I went.
At the end of a wonderful day I returned the scooter, thanked Rachel and Simon and headed off home reflecting on how much I had both enjoyed and benefitted from the freedom and flexibility of my ‘Scooter at Southport Show’ day. I easily accessed everywhere I’d wanted to go in the showground and saw everything I had hoped and more....’hiring the scooter was the best £30 I have ever spent!’
Right from my first ‘phone contact with ‘Events Mobility’ which was (and I did tell this to Lisa at the time) outstanding - both in the message on the ‘phone being answered and the personal ‘phone contact/conversation with Lisa and Sheena but most especially the care on ‘the day’ from both Rachel and Simon- every aspect of my ‘treatment’ has been amazing and I can’t thank the team enough; you provide a wonderful friendly service and with great reassurance of backup should it be needed.
I would most certainly recommend ‘Event Mobility’ without reservation.

As a blue badge holder, a lover of golf when we decided to go to see the above competition I had some doubts as my mobility is not good even on a good day that I would be able to manage even with a mobility aid. Well I was pleasantly surprised and overwhelmed once I got to the above event all my worries had gone as Simon in particular was a true professional with outstanding customer service and very friendly attitude made my visit memorable thank you Simon and all the staff at Event Mobility without your dedication I would have had to stay at home and watch this event on the television and I would have missed the fantastic atmosphere.

Just thought I would let you know that I hired one of your scooters for my adult daughter to use at the Newbury Retro Festival. She was over the moon with the scooter. It went everywhere she needed it to go with no problems including over the sometimes rough grassed areas of the showground. She had a brilliant day.

The Cheltenham Festival
I am aged 79. My family and I attended the Countryfile event at Blenheim Palace on Friday 5th August and I hired one of your Mobility Scooters. I wish to highly commend to you all your staff present on that day.
We returned the Mobility Scooter at about 2.30pm a quiet time; and all three of your staff offered to walk back with me riding the scooter to the car park. It was nearly a mile away. In the event Simon Wellby walked back with me . He didn't know that I served as a Detective Sergeant in the Metropolitan Police service in the 1970s during the IRA troubles on the anti terrorist squad. I faced criminals armed with sawn~off double barrelled 12 bore shot guns on three separate occasions, and on the last occasion was shot in the back of both legs from close range with both barrels, splintering bones in my ankles which has disabled me through arthritis in recent years.
I would like to thank you for your excellent service of provision of Mobility Scooters and of course again to highly commend your staff. Warmest Regards to you all. John Allport ~ Beccles

I would just like to say what a relief was to have one of your Scooters.
Not only that, the reception on arrival was very friendly and I was given very good instructions without me having to read the manual (which it says on the scooter!).
Also I would like to thank the young lady who very kindly walked 2/3rds of the way back to the car park so that I could do it in leisure!

"I’m 88 and we’ve been coming to Badminton for many, many years and even though I now have knee problems I can still come thanks to scooters from Event Mobility. We go to lots of other shows and use Event Mobility as they are our holidays. Scooters make a huge difference to peoples’ lives and all the people I’ve seen with scooters have been so friendly. We all wave at one another. I was unsure we’d be able to get round with the mud this year but Simon selected a TGA Breeze Midi for me which could do it. Why suffer when you can hire a scooter and make events so much more pleasurable? We’ve got friends and family who have followed our recommendations to use Event Mobility and now go to lots of shows that weren’t possible before."
